This website has been established for the primary purpose of informing the family, loved ones and others interested about the part of the FRALEY family which was primarily located in East Smithfield, Pennsylvania (PA), a small country town (note the above picture, taken many years ago) just a few miles outside (SW of) Athens, PA, in the Northeast section of PA. from as early as about 1850 until about 1960. More specifically, the information herein is dedicated to the Fraley family of my father, Robert Christopher Fraley (pictured below), including his wife, Jane Harrington Fraley, their children, grandchildren, ancestors and other close relatives. Other related information is also provided. Today, all such family members have departed East Smithfield and now live elsewhere, or have died. It is hoped that all visitors to this website, especially this particular Fraley family and loved ones, will find the information contained herein interesting, informative, and, at times, colorful.
